Patch Level 10

Towards the end of last year SAP announced their latest update to SAP Business One 8.81, patch level 10, however with the excitement of Christmas, I didn’t get the chance to share the updates, so slightly belated, but here goes.

The ‘top fixes’ come in the form of the Report Scheduling and the sending of marketing documents via the Outlook client.

Patch level 10 also see’s corrections in the following areas-

  • Reporting Schedule, capability to make report execution schedules, specify recipients and define the formats for generated reports.
  • Enabling the Document Setting “Considering Sales Document Settings for partial Delivery in the Pick and Pack Process” on the Pick List.
  • Capability to define and access SAP links through the application.
  • Ability to access the B1I framework directly from SAP Business One.
  • Activities linked to Sales Opportunities can be closed in conjunction when setting the Sales Opportunity to either won or lost status.
  • Field Sub Period no longer populated with a default value when creating new Posting Periods.
  • Delivery Date on the Open Reserve Invoice can now be edited.
  • Enabling the posting of commission amount in document or local currency in the Commission window for Deposits.
  • Transaction code exposure to DI.
  • Enabling the update of the purchase quotation through the web interface until expiration.
  • SDK PriceList and Warehouse properties not exposed in the ProductTrees object.
  • Enabling the sending of marketing documents via the Outlook email client.
  • DI cannot update parent account for Chart of Accounts.
  • Remarks field displayed in Journal Voucher Report.

And finally there have been a couple of legal changes, including the display of Draft No. field in the Approval Status Report and the Down Payment Request in the Sales Report.
